A Gambler's Sampler Platter

PUSHMASTER PICKS '012: WEEK NINE

By ROBB WITMER FULL
THE RETURN OF RYAN TANNEHILL IS GOOD NEWS?

For the eighth consecutive season, the author is competing in the PushMaster Invitational Football Pool, the greatest gambling pool in the history of Sport. Every week players must make five picks against the point spread, college or pro, overs or unders.

I’ve got the sampler platter today: Home ‘dog, home favorite, road ‘dog, road favorite, with an over thrown in to spice it up. This is not a strategy, just how things shook out.

WEEK NINE PICKS

LAST WEEK: 3-2-0 | SEASON: 19-21-0, 47.50% | LIFETIME: 341-319-20, 51.67%

DOLPHINS (-1) v. Colt’s Bar & Horsebeef Grille
News around the PushMaster Command Center is that Ryan Tannehill is coming back today. Hopefully that’s good news.

Cardinals v. PACKERS (-10)
I’m sticking with my betting-against-the-Cardinals horse.

Panthers v. Redskins OVER (48)
I’m pretty sure this is my first over/under of the year. Maybe the time change is fucking me up, but nothing else was making sense.

Broncos v. BENGALS (+4)
Oh my god, Peyton Manning is amazing again. And are supposed to be not hating him for selling super-shitty pizza now?

COWBOYS (+3.5) v. Falcons
The Cowboys will win this game, which will hopefully reduce the amount of Tony-Romo-is-terrible comments I hear on a daily basis. Not that I’m defending Romo, but I like to think we’re better than that. I’m obviously wrong, but someone needs to dream.
